My Studio

The Upper Room studio is located in my home in Tulsa, OK. We recently moved from the country to the middle of Tulsa, OK and I am currently working on a renovation to enlarge and finish my recording space! 

While my ability to record large ensembles in a live setting is limited, modern recording techniques and technology allow the use of layering and overdubbing to achieve any sound imaginable (check out my Audio Samples - all recorded/produced solely in my studio). 

About Me

I am passionate about worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ and about great music, especially worship music, as the Bible is very clear that we should "Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise" (Psalm 33:3). As a long-time drummer, I have zealously obeyed that scripture! I am a multi-instrumentalist with over 30 years of experience in worship music and 20 years of experience with live sound and audio recording. I have annoyingly high standards for sound and music and use that annoying character flaw (:-)) to strive for professional-sounding audio recordings at an affordable price. 

My wife and I work at Tulsa Lighthouse Church, my family's home church where I am the Church Administrator and also oversee the audio/visual department and play drums, bass, and guitar. My beautiful wife sings like an angel and is also heavily involved in worship music at TLC. We have two girls, Claire and Nora-Kate, who are in the early stages of learning piano and violin.
